The Hellenic Ministry of Culture launched the program “All of Greece, One Culture” in spring 2020 during the pandemic, and it has since become one of Greece’s most important cultural institutions. It offers an exceptional cultural experience in emblematic archaeological sites, unique monuments and museums throughout Greece. 

Every summer (July-August), “All of Greece, One Culture” presents high-quality cultural productions, innovatively combining modern cultural creation with the country’s rich cultural heritage. Since 2021, the Greek National Opera taken on the organization and execution of the programme, supported by funding from the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.

This year’s diverse programme of “All of Greece, One Culture” covers a wide range of artistic fields and includes 70 new productions. The events take place at 68 archaeological sites, monuments, and museums in 12 regions of Greece, beyond Attica. Overall, the programme comprises 140 events featuring theatre, music, performances/activities for young audiences, dance, visual and performance art, and music theatre.

The events of the programme “All of Greece, One Culture” start on the 1st of July and last for two months, until the 31st of August.

Every archaeological site has its own rules and parking arrangements. For special vehicles or individuals using wheelchairs or in need of assistance to access the theatre, we recommend that you contact the relevant archaeological site directly to receive specific directions.

The events take place at archaeological sites, monuments, and museums in 12 regions of Greece. The 2024 programme will be held in 60 different locations. Check out the map at

Advance booking for the first fifteen days of the programme, from July 1st to July 15th, 2024, began on 25 June 2024. For the upcoming events, advance booking will gradually become available on the dates specified on each event’s website.

The events included in the programme “All of Greece, One Culture” are presented by the Ministry of Culture at no cost to the visitors. Attendees will only need to pay the entrance ticket fee for the archaeological site, if there is one.  You can find detailed information on each event’s website.

Advance booking is required. You can reserve your seats through the website of the performance you wish to attend. The reservation voucher serves as a  proof that you have reserved a seat, and you must present it upon entering the archaeological site, monument, or museum. 

Every audience member can book in advance up to four (4) tickets for each event.

The tickets (entrance tickets) are sent to the email address you have provided, in PDF form. You can print or save them on your mobile phone. Upon entering the venue, tickets are electronically scanned to ensure their validity.

The email you have received includes an indication: “To cancel your seats, click here”. Moreover, fifteen (15) minutes before the event begins, the tickets of audience members who have not arrived will be canceled. And if there are still available seats left, they will be given on a first come first served basis.

Every event starts at a different time. You can learn about the exact time each event starts on each event’s website.  

It is recommended to arrive at the site 30 minutes before the event starts.

The majority of the events are aimed at persons of all ages. Regarding performances and activities for children, there is a special mention on each specific event’s website about the minimum age limit required.

The programme of “All of Greece, One Culture” includes a special category of Performances/Events for Young Audiences.

To get the latest and safest information, it’s best to get in touch with the site you are interested in.

Only service dogs assisting the disabled are permitted at the events.

In case of changes or cancellation regarding a performance you will be notified in time at the email address you provided when you made your booking. Moreover, there will be a relevant announcement on the website of “All of Greece, One Culture”.

Only some selected performances from the program will be recorded and made available on demand on the program’s webpage after the events conclude. The audience will have the chance to watch them for free via the event’s webpage.

Detailed information will be provided on each event’s page. Moreover, you will have the chance to navigate to the venue using the Google Maps app.

That will be determined by the directions on each event’s page.

The infrastructure at each site is different. Therefore, we recommend that you contact the archaeological site you are interested in before arriving at the event.

Taking photographs with or without flash, recording videos, and capturing sounds during  the events are prohibited.
